Operations Recommence at Edinburgh Airport Following Substantial Control Tower IT Issue
Passenger services have resumed at Edinburgh Airport after a major air traffic control outage halted all operations.
Every arrival and departure were halted because of an technical fault that was reported at approximately 08:30.
A number of travelers reported being stuck in jets at the stand while the issue persisted.
Flights Resume with Ongoing Delays
Officials announced at 10:40 that services were back online, and expressed gratitude to passengers for their "cooperation and patience".

A spokesperson had earlier anticipated that a significant number of movements could be affected.
